Social Worker Intern/ Counselor
NeuroWorks is looking for a mental health therapist intern/social worker intern/counselor intern/marriage and family therapist intern who is in the last year of graduate school to join our growing team! We are a clinician-founded, hybrid practice offering telehealth and in-person therapy in the Chicago, Hyde Park area! We are a fast-growing company dedicated to bringing awareness and helping our clients integrate mental health into their lives, bringing wellness and individual transformation.
About The Role:

- Clinicians can hold sessions in person at our office or work from the comfort of their own home providing telehealth.
- NeuroWorks provides weekly clinical supervision and monthly consultation with our supportive and incredible clinical team to help you grow professionally.
- NeuroWorks vision is to build a robust community and lasting connections! We are excited to offer our monthly team events (trainings, workshops, and team outings, etc)!
- NeuroWorks will handle your billing, marketing and provide you with client referrals and office space. Your job is to meet with clients and write notes.

Minimum Qualifications

- Be in school for Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling
- Must be well organized
- Maintains work schedule (works well independently)
- Excellent written, communication, and relationship skills
- Has passion for helping people and warm personality
- Wants to be a part of a growing clinical practice
- Interested in personal and professional growth and development
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with trauma, mood and personality disorders, eating disorders, addictions, children, families, and couples
- CBT, DBT, MI Training preferred
- Neurofeedback, Neurotherapy
- Brainspotting
- EMDR

Neuro Tech
Neuro Tech – Neurofeedback Services (2 positions available)
NeuroWorks offers services in a traditional outpatient office setting as well as remote options. We are enthusiastic about the services we provide and are looking for individuals who believe strongly in our organizational mission. Candidates should work well in a team setting, be self-motivated, and desire to help grow our client base and have experience working with adults, adolescents, couples, and families.
Our Neuro Techs at NeuroWorks assists patients during neurofeedback training sessions according to parameters set by the supervisor. Tracks, charts, and monitors patient’s training sessions and symptomatic progress. Reviews patient progress and training effectiveness with the treatment team. Managing daily schedules along with scheduling future patient appointments. Assists with staffing the front desk, as needed.

Licensed Clinicians
NeuroWorks is a private practice located in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Chicago. We are seeking IL-state-licensed LPCs, LCPCs, LSWs, LCSWs, a Psychologist or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidates are motivated and compassionate professionals who provide ongoing relationship-oriented therapy services as a valued member of our team.

Requirements:

- Master’s Degree required
- Active Illinois license (LPC, LCPC, LSW, LCSW or Psy.D. or equivalent) required
- Possess comprehensive professional liability insurance
- A high-level of knowledge and skill in therapy and clinical assessment with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families
- Able to work with a wide range of mental health issues and presenting concerns
- Knowledge and experience providing relationship-based and Psychodynamic-oriented therapies
- Be willing to build their caseload to a minimum of 10-15 clients
- Able to work cooperatively within a clinical team
- Ability to work autonomously and independently
- Motivated to help NeuroWorks grow our client base
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Current established NPI# and/or credentials with insurance panels preferred but not required
Experience:
-
- Social Work, Counseling or Therapy: 2 years (Preferred)
- Adolescent therapy: 2 years (Preferred)
- Family and/or couple’s therapy: 2 years (Preferred)
Job Type: Part-time 1099 contract. Mondays – Fridays with the option for weekends. NeuroWorks is currently using a hybrid in-office and remote work schedule offering both in-person and tele-therapy options for our clients.
Salary: Commensurate with experience
